shape, texture & firmness of the sponge is great. the pointy end is terrific for getting under the eye to blend in concealer, smudge eyeliner – or wipe away the extra. put on my foundation, fix my eye area & put on gel/creme blushers – perfect. THE PROBLEM is, regardless of if i am using on others or myself . . . bottom line, very expensive for the product and not justifiable for a disposible item such as this.

Perhaps this is a economic stimulus item??!!

HOLY… this sponge is AMAZING. Seriously, I was extremely skeptical at first. The first time I used it, I forgot to wet it so it turned out not as well as I hoped. However, I realized my mistake and tried it a second time… and oh my… I couldn’t believe the results when I looked at myself in the mirror. My foundation looked flawless! I didn’t even look like I was wearing make up! I love this sponge, and has used it every day since!!!

I debated buying this makeup sponge because it is a bit pricey. It’s a wonderful makeup sponge. Will definitely buy again.

I was very skeptical of this product. I have been using those little triangular makeup sponges for years, and more recently, my fingers as well, and so I thought how different could this be? The shape and texture of the sponge, plus application technique really makes your foundation look smooth and I feel even last longer. The directions say to wet the sponge and squeeze it dry with a towel so you have a damp sponge. Then you are supposed to stipple (sort of a dabbing motion) your foundation on your face. I would get the two-pack because if you’re going to like it, it is a much better value. I didn’t buy the soap – I am using a very mild natural low-sudsing shampoo and it seems to do the trick. The only “negative” is cleaning out the sponge. It takes a little bit of time, but the results are worth it.

When I use this sponge to apply foundation, tiny hot pink specks remain on my face from the sponge. I’m back to the drawing board, trying to find a sponge that will replace a brand I’ve been using for years that is no longer available.
